Definition
In a planning level, the characteristic combinations are determined, with which planning is carried out. Certain characteristic values, which are valid for the entire planning level, can be selected for the individual characteristics. Note that the actual selection of characteristic values and formation of the market segments to be planned takes place in the planning packages which belong to the planning level. Only characteristic values which are valid for all planning packages should be set in a planning level.
