Definition
In a parameter set, you determine the parameters for a planning method.
All planning methods have parameters. This means, for example, that, for the method Enter plan data, you must specify the planning layout with which you want to enter the data. If you do not want to have to enter the parameter settings each time you call up the transaction, you should save these parameter settings in a parameter set.
As an alternative to permanently saving all the parameters for a planning method in a parameter set, you can enter the parameters for a method at the time of execution, using the function ad-hoc parameter set.
