Definition
There are forms with one axis and forms with two axes. In forms with one axis, you only define one dimension, either the columns or the rows. In forms with two axes, you define both columns and rows. In all, there are three different types of form:
- Form with one axis and without key figure
You select the key figures you want to use when you define the report. - Form with one axis and with key figure
You select the key figures in the form and define characteristics in the report. - Form with two axes
Matrix form with key figures in one dimension and characteristics in the other.
Which type of form you should define depends on how you want the report to appear and what content you want to display.
