Indicator for error handling
With this indicator you can specify whether the system should display an error message if it cannot find a valid cost estimate during CO-PA valuation based on the assigned costing keys.
Note that by default an error message is always displayed in such cases if you do not select this field in the definition of your assignment table.
Example:
You have defined valuation so that the system uses three costing keys to access cost estimates from product costing for a certain material type.
For a product that belongs to this material type, none of these costing keys finds a valid cost estimate.
If you want the system to display an error message in this case, set the control indicator to "1". If no message should be displayed, set the control indicator to "2". In the latter case, the system will continue processing the document as if no valuation using product costing had been defined.
