Definition
Here you decide whether or not you want to store summarization data for your report.
If you choose to store summarization data, you also need to decide which data should be displayed online in the report, as well as how the system should react if no summarization data exists.
- Data: You can choose between the current data and the most recent summarization data.
- If you choose "current", the system reads the most recent summarization data and the line items which have since been added.
- If you choose "most recent summarization data", the system displays the data stored from the last time the program RKEBATCH was run in the background for this report.
- Reaction if no summarization data exists: How the system reacts if no summarization data exists for characteristic values in the report.
- You can decide that the report cannot be executed online (choose "error message") or
- allow it (choose "warning"). In the latter case, the user receives a warning before continuing on with the report.
If you do not change any of the settings in the dialog box, the system uses the default settings: it stores summarization data for the report, displays the current data, and does not let you run the report online if no summarization data exists.
If you choose not to store summarization data, the system reads the data from the segment level when you run the report. It does not display an error message or a warning.
