Definition
Time-based aggregation determines how a key figure is summarized over the characteristic "Period".
This field is only taken into account when only one value field occurs in the key figure scheme (formula: =Z9nnn;).
This lets you create elements of the key figure scheme which have a different time-based aggregation from that value field.
Example: Element 0010 = Z9010 has the aggregation rule "First value" and element 0020 = Z9010 has the aggregation rule "Last value". You can then define a formula which calculates the difference between the first and the last value: 0030 = Z0010-Z0020.
You also need to set the summation indicator so that the formula for 0030 is only calculated during edition.
