This field contains the last name, first name and name prefix of the patient.

Use

If you have still to enter the newborn as a patient, you can enter the first name of the child here. This field remains active until a case is created for the newborn. Once you create a case, the complete name of the child is displayed and the field is no longer active.

Use

The name which is displayed in this field results from the entry in the "Case" field or the entry in the "Patient" field:

• If the "Case" field is filled, the patient name is determined from the patient number belonging to the case number, regardless of what is in the "Patient" field.
• If the "Case" field is not filled, but something is entered in the "Patient" field, the patient name is determined from the patient number
• If both fields are not filled, no patient name is displayed
