Documentation
Definition
Indicator specifying that the material component is backflushed.
Use
Each material component is assigned to an operation in the production order. If a material component is backflushed, the system posts the withdrawal only upon confirmation of the operation. The withdrawal is then posted automatically.
Supplementary Documentation - RGEKZ 0001
Use
Each material component is assigned to an operation in the production order. If a material component is backflushed, the system automatically posts the withdrawal only upon confirmation of the operation.
If you set the indicator in the routing, it applies irrespective of what you have defined in the material master record.
If you do not set the indicator, it depends on how the indicator is set in the material master record.
For more information, please see the SAP document PP Routings.
Dependencies
Please note that this indicator is not automatically set in the routing by you setting the indicator in the material master record.
Supplementary Documentation - RGEKZ 0002
Use
This way you select only components that are backflushed.
Dependencies
Example
Supplementary Documentation - RGEKZ 4401
Definition
This indicator specifies that the material component is backflushed, which means that the goods issue is automatically posted when you confirm the phase to which the material components have been assigned.
Dependencies
Note that in process orders only phases are confirmed. For this reason, you cannot backflush a material component if it has been assigned to an operation.
If you do not set the indicator in the master recipe or process order, the following settings control goods issue posting:
- Backflush indicator in the material master (MRP view)
You can choose between the following settings:
- The component is not backflushed (indicator is not set).
- The component is always backflushed.
- The resource (work center) decides whether the component is backflushed (see 2.)
- Backflush indicator in the resource (Basic Data screen)
You can choose between the following settings:
- No backflush
- Backflush
