Documentation
Definition
Determines whether the backflush indicator is set in the production order. Here, a 3-level hierarchy logic is applied:
- In the routing, the backflush indicator is set in the component assignment.
- In the material master record, the backflush indicator is set to "Always Backflush".
- In the material master record, the backflush indicator is set to "Work Center Decides", and the indicator is set in the work center.
Use
Each material component is assigned to an operation in the production order. If a material component is backflushed, the system posts the withdrawal only upon confirmation of the operation. The withdrawal is then posted automatically.
