Definition

Specifies the surcharge (in EUR) that increases the amount of the property tax to be paid for the given real estate object.

Use

If the real estate object, which you are eligible to pay building tax, has more than one floor, you need to pay a certain amount or percentage of surcharge per increment as defined by law. You multiply the surcharge by the number of additional floors and then add this amount to the property tax (which is calculated as follows: floor area is multiplied by the annual tax rate).
