Documentation
Definition
Specifies the duration in months of the ownership period for the rental unit or property. The number of months is automatically calculated based on the start date and the end date of the ownership period in a year. Only whole months are considered in the calculation, that is, ownership lasting at least 15 days in a month. If ownership was not continuous during the ownership period, the number of months of exclusion is subtracted from the total number of ownership months.
Use
The number of ownership months is included in the tax calculation as a proportional factor.
