Use

• The indicator is set ('X')

  The initial level is interpreted as a gross amount and the expense account of the service charge settlement is posted with VAT.

• The indicator is not set (' ')

  The initial level is interpreted as a net amount and the expense account of the service charge settlement is posted without VAT.

Dependencies

This indicator is not allowed to be set for the posting of periodic initial levels. The transfer of the ending levels from the prior period to the initial level of the current period takes place automatically.
