Definition

Period to be freely defined by the shipper (hours/minutes) in which the shipper expects an answer from the forwarding agent to whom the shipment was offered. The period is added on to the tendering date and compared with the current date.

For example, the forwarding agent should send an answer for the shipment offered for tendering within two hours. If the forwarding agent does not react by 16:00 on 13.01.2000 to a shipment that was tendered on this date at 14:00, the system issues a message that warns the planner in time.
