Definition
This field contains the number of spare sample devices for the second drawing. Spare sample devices can be used instead of the sample devices planned for the sampling procedure if the sample devices cannot be inspected (e.g. due to unusual mechanical damage).
If the lot is an official lot, the number is defined by legal requirements. The prescribed number is stored as a system parameter per division category and certification indicator of the lot.
