Definition
Indicator that enables you to have the measurement amount in the service charge settlement treated as zero during periods of vacancy.
For reasons of simplification, fixed measurement amounts of the rental object are sometimes used to apportion the service charges, even though apportionment actually depends on the occupancy. For example, garbage collection fees could be based on the floor area instead of the number of persons to prevent having to make an entry each time someone moves in or out. This indicator can be selected to prevent costs from being apportioned during a vacancy for this time period.
@0S@ This indicator applies to all settlement units that apportion based on this measurement type. If you want the indicator to apply only in certain cases, create your own (totals) measurement type. Select the indicator for this measurement type, and assign the measurement type to the settlement units that you want to apportion in this way.
If the indicator is selected, then when the service charges are settled the system accepts that no measurement value can be determined for time periods in which the object was vacant. This indicator can therefore also be used to represent measurement amounts such as "number of persons" that should only be entered during the term of the contract.

)In service charge settlement, the measurement amount of the rental object is valuated at zero for the time period in which the rental object was vacant.
- Indicator is not set (
' '
)Regardless of whether the rental object was vacant or not, the measurement amount entered for the rental object is used to calculate the service charge share for the time period in question.
