Definition

This flag indicates whether the system plans to reschedule shipping dates in the document. Rescheduling may become necessary if a new route was determined when the delivery was processed.

Since manual changes to the shipping dates will be changed during rescheduling, some of the fields are not available for entry.

Beginning with the delivery date, rescheduling will take place when you:

• Save the delivery
• Release data in the item overview
• Carry out the rescheduling function manually

You need to define the rescheduling process in Define delivery types in Customizing so that the system runs a complete rescheduling by extending the process to include backorders. Otherwise, the dates in the source sales order will simply be carried over into the delivery again.
