Definition
Valuation of resource which can be chosen for business event planning:
A valuation is displayed for each individual resource. Resources are arranged in descending order according to this valuation.
The higher the value of a resource:
- the more required resource types the resource is equipped with. For example, Room X is automatically equipped with a certain number of PC's. You can display these resource types and the numbers available using the function "resources contained". (See below also)
- the better the resource capacity (esp. rooms) suits the business event type capacity.
This is, for example, the case when the optimum resource capacity lies between the optimum and maxium capacity of the business event type. If no capacity is set for a business event (infotype 1024), the values which may have been set for the resource type are used.
Note
The list of resources on the selection screen normally displays each required and uncritical resource type. If a resource is selected that automatically has the resource type in the required number, no selection screen will be offered for this particular resource type later on. (You can display the resources automatically contained via the function 'resources contained'). For example, if you choose a room which is automatically equipped with the necessary number of PC's, you do not need to choose individual PC's later on.
The procedure is the same if you choose a resource which is automatically equipped with the required number of a resource type, for which you already specified the number required on a previous selection screen. This original choice is then ignored.
