Documentation
Definition
Tax jurisdiction code (for posting term)
Use
The tax jurisdiction code is used in the United States for determining tax rates. The tax jurisdiction code defines the tax authority to which taxes must be paid. The determining location is the location to which the goods were delivered.
Dependencies
This tax jurisdiction code is used for posting of contract conditions with this posting term. If a value is not entered in the posting term, then the system uses the tax jurisdiction code from the default term for the organizational assignment; or the tax jurisdiction code is determined hierarchically from the assigned real estate objects.
