Definition

Expresses the share of the amount in this line item to the total amount of the document (100%). The total amount is entered in the basic data.

Use

Dependencies

If you do not enter a percentage in a line item, then the system automatically assigns it 100%. However, you can still overwrite the amount when entering the document.

Example

There are three items in a document:

• First item (debit): no entry
• Second item (credit): 30% account assignment to object A
• Third item (credit): 70% account assignment to object B

A total amount of 1000 was entered in the basic data. The system then distributes 1000 to the debit item, and 300 and 700 respectively to the credit items.
