  • Indicator is set ('X')

    The house bank entered in the basic data is adopted in the line item.
    For debit and credit items, this is the house bank the payment program then uses for the payment of the receivable.
    For G/L account items, you set this indicator for bank postings. In that case, you do not need an account symbol for the G/L account. If you do define an account symbol for this kind of item, the system ignores the account symbol.

  • Indicator is not set (' ')

    The house bank entered is not adopted in the line item. Do not set the indicator for line items unless they are customer or vendor items, or bank items.
