Definition
The line item is a distribution item for the transfer (distribution) of costs or revenue to objects.
Use
Only set this indicator for G/L account items. The system derives the account assignment objects and determines the amount using the distribution formula. To do this, choose Distribution Formula in the control of account assignment derivation. Enter a distribution formula, and parameters as needed.
You do not need to have line items for debiting and crediting the contract. However, if you want to have these contract postings, then create a separate document header for the distribution to the objects.

'X')The line item is a model for the transfer to objects that are assigned to the contract in the basic data. The distribution formula you enter determines the type of distribution. When there is distribution to multiple objects, this line item is duplicated as often as necessary.
