Use

• Indicator is set ('X')
  During accrual/deferral, it is important whether or not periodic postings were already run. The sequence in which periodic posting and accrual/deferral runs have been processed is significant. You should choose this setting if you do not run periodic posting every month.

• Indicator is not set (' ')
  For accrual/deferral, the system assumes that periodic posting is run every month. The sequence in which periodic posting and accrual/deferral runs have been processed within the month therefore does not have any impact.
