Definition
Indicator for selecting materials to be archived and deleted on the basis of the period between the flagging of a material for deletion and its actual deletion.
Use
Important
This indicator is active for retail materials only.
If the indicator is set, the system selects only those materials where a set period has been exceeded. This period is the time between the flagging of the material for deletion (logical deletion) and the running of the archiving session (physical deletion), and depends on the material type.
Example
You start the archiving session on May 1. The period between logical and physical deletion for material type x is 60 days. All materials flagged for deletion at least 60 days before the archiving session and that are assigned to material type x can be archived and deleted.
