Definition
This field can be used to inform the logical database which node should be used to start the bottom-up search. If this field is empty, the logical database determines the starting node automatically. Filling this field makes sense, when the program that uses the logical database wants to ensure that all selected objects appear for a given node, even if no objects correspond to the selection for a higher node in the hierarchy.
For more information, refer to the definition and example for the "Top-Down Search" indicator: "Top-Down Search?"
As an example, if the following is true, you should set "BUILDING" as the starting node for the bottom-up search. The "Top-Down Search" indicator is not allowed to be set:
Business entities should only be selected if there are buildings that fulfill the selection criteria, and buildings should be selected in any case (regardless of the rental unit).
