The mandate represents an accounting unit below the company code.
A mandate is opened when you create a third-party contract. Third-party contracts are used to represent the management contract that an owner of a property signs with a manager for the management of the property.
The mandate forms the basis of separation of assets between the owner and the manager, thereby facilitating the creation of separate financial statements.
