Documentation
Definition
Indicator which controls how the system deals with the field when it copies data from a master contract into a lower level contract.
Procedure
Assign the appropriate indicator to each field in the referencing procedure.
You have the following options:
- A - Identical field
Assign the indicator A to fields which must have the same value in both the master and lower level contract. If you enter a different value in the field in the lower level contract, the link to the master contract is deleted. Contract data fields can only be included in a referencing procedure if they are assigned the indicatorA.
- B - Copy field
Assign the indicator B if you want the field value to be copied from the master contract into the lower level contract. You cannot change the field value in the lower level contract.
- C - Proposal fields
Assign the indicator C if you want the field values to be proposed from the master contract into the lower level contract. The values are only copied if the fields in both contracts had the same value before the master contract was changed. You can overwrite the field value in the lower level contract.
