Definition
Balance Carryforward
The balance of all items on the contract that have a posting date before the selected time period. This total is displayed in one of the two columns, depending on whether it is a debit or a credit balance.
Debit/Credit Turnover Total
This row shows the sales turnover from the selected time period that was assigned to the current contract, taking cleared items into account also. Debit and credit postings are displayed separately, that is, items are not balanced against each other in this row.
Contract Balance
The total of all items on the contract at the end of the selected time period. The system displays this balance either in the debit or credit column, depending on whether it is positive or negative.
Unassigned Open Items
The system displays the total of all open items on the customer account, which are assigned neither to the current contract, nor to another contract belonging to the customer. The totals of items from the selected time period are displayed as separate debits or credits.
Customer Balance
Balance of the customer account on the key date marking the end of the selected time period. This balance includes open and cleared items. It can also contain items that are not included in the displayed items described so far. These could be:
- Unassigned open items that have a posting date after the selected time period
- Open items that were assigned to other contracts
