Definition
Specifies the date the system sets for the posting date of the earmarked funds document, if follow-on documents are generated:
- Start of Year
For the posting date, the system adopts the start of the year in which the follow-on document is being created.
- Start of Contract Postings
The system uses the due date of the first relevant cash flow record as the posting date for the follow-on document. This date is the same as the posting date of the first earmarked funds document.
- Start of Contract Renewal
The system uses the due date of the first relevant cash flow record as the posting date for the follow-on document. This date is the same as the posting date of the first earmarked funds document. However, if the contract was renewed, then the system adopts the start date of the contract renewal as the posting date. Note: If the start date of the contract renewal is after the earliest due date of the line items, then the system replaces the posting date with the start date of contract postings.
