Use
Here you can set up the following functions for requesting an approval workflow:
- Function Inactive After First Use
When creating or changing the contract, you activate the approval workflow separately. You can make changes to the contract without needing to request approval for them. You request activation of the approval workflow using a separate function within contract processing. Once you activate an approval workflow for the first time, the function is no longer available on the screen. This means that changes that require approval are automatically sent to the approval workflow as soon as you make the change in the contract. - Function Always Active
When creating or changing the contract, you activate the approval workflow separately. You can make changes to the contract without needing to request approval for them. You request activation of the approval workflow using a separate function within contract processing. - Function Never Active
The function for requesting approval is never active. If a change to the contract is subject to approval due to the settings in the company code and for the contract type, then the system automatically triggers the workflow as soon as the change is made. As long as there is no approval for the contract, then, depending on the settings in the Contract Lock field, it is possible that making changes to this contract is no longer allowed.
