Definition
Use
The output device displayed is always used for the output activity, however you can change this under the Output Control tab page.
The default value is determined as follows:
- Output device specified in Customizing for the correspondence application (applies for all users)
- Output device specified in the user master record (if no entry has been made for 1 above)
It is mandatory to specify an output device in the correspondence application. This is also required to display the print preview. Enter the output device in the respective field if no default value is proposed by the system.
We recommend entering the standard output device in the user master record. Make your entry under the Defaults tab page in the Spool Control area.
Change the user master record now.
(Changes will take effect the next time you log on.)
Dependencies
For background processing, you should specify the output device under the Output Control tab page of the correspondence program. Changes in the settings for background processing will be ignored.
