You can set this indicator for processes that have a simulation mode.

• Indicator is set ('X')

When the process is called in simulation mode, the system first tries to perform the translation with the data for the update run. If no exchange rate is available for that, then the system performs the translation using the data for simulation mode.

• Indicator is not set (' ')

The translation is only performed with the data for the update run, regardless of whether the process was called in simulation or update mode.
