Use

The distinguishing characteristic is required if you want to control several parameters using the same interface. This is the case, for example, for the IF_RETM_TERM_MNGR interface, which encapsulates various term categories.

The distinguishing characteristic is available as a parameter for the implementation of the IF_RECA_STORABLE~ME_INIT_BY_TEMPLATE methods. This makes it possible, for example, to decide if copying should actually be performed for the concrete term category.
