Definition
Residence time in days between when the deletion indicator is set and when an object is archived.
Use
Setting the deletion indicator is done using the preprocessing program in the central transaction for data archiving. Archiving is performed by the write program in the central transaction for data archiving.
If the residence time has not yet elapsed, the data object is ignored by the write program.
If you do not want to place any time restrictions, enter 0 days. This means that archiving is possible on the same day that you set the deletion indicator. Entering 1 day means that archiving can take place on the day after the deletion indicator was set.
