Definition
Vacancy events are processes that trigger the vacancy of a rental object. The system uses vacancy events to automatically enter a vacancy reason on a rental object.
Use
You can define these events here. For these vacancy events, you can enter vacancy reasons in Customizing in the Determine Vacancy Reason Based on Vacancy Event IMG activity.
The following events are defined in the system:
- Default Vacancy Reason (00)
Event that cannot be assigned to any of the other categories listed below. Example: deletion of a contract - Rental Object Created New (01)
Event: rental object is created in or deleted from a contract - Contract Start Date Shifted Backward (02)
Event: contract starts later - Contract End Date Shifted Forward (03)
Event: contract ends earlier - Start Date of RO Assignment to Contract Shifted Backward (04)
Event: rental object is assigned to contract later - End Date of RO Assignment to Contract Shifted Forward (05)
Event: rental object is removed from contract earlier - RO Term Extended Directly (06)
Event: the valid to or from date of the rental object is changed so that there is a new vacancy period - RO Term Extended Indirectly (07)
Event: the valid to or from date of a higher-level object for the rental object is changed so that there is a new vacancy period (for example, the validity dates of the business entity change) - Regular Notice Given on Contract (08)
Event: notice is given on the contract - Reservation (09)
Event: the rental object is occupied by a contract with Reservation status - Renewal Option Not Accepted (10)
Event: renewal option is rejected by the tenant and this is activated in the system; the contract ends earlier - Renewal Option Ends Earlier (11)
Event: maximum term of the contract (with renewal) ends earlier
Dependencies
Example
An event is triggered when notice is given on a contract. For this event, you enter Vacancy Due to Notice as the vacancy reason. On the rental objects assigned to the contract, the system shows the reason for the vacancy as Vacancy Due to Notice in the occupancy overview.
