Definition
Specifies the source measurement for a derivation. Normally this measurement is the same as the measurement type to be derived.
However, if you want to allow the derived measurement only for rental spaces, but not for pooled spaces, then make the following entries.
In Customizing under Measurement Types Allowed per Rental Object Type, enter the derived measurement type for the pooled space as "not allowed" and for the rental space, enter it as "allowed". Then you also have to ensure that the derived measurement type is not allowed for the usage type of the pooled space in the Measurement Types per Usage Type Customizing activity.
