Definition

  • Indicator is set ('X')

The system automatically adds leading zeros when you enter a number for the business entity. If you enter the number '1' it is internally converted to '00001'.

  • Indicator is not set (' ')
The system does not add leading zeros when you enter a number for the business entity. If you enter the number '1' it is remains as entered.

Dependencies

Whether the system also displays the leading zeros depends on the setting for output conversion (refer to Suppress Leading Zeroes for Output of BE Number?).
