Definition

Specifies how account assignment is made for a given vacancy reason.

Use

Account assignment can be:

  • As usual:
    • There is no change made to the posting terms.
  • Other CO Account Assignment:
    • A different CO account assignment should be used. The system determines this CO account assignment using the vacancy term, the number of which was entered for the vacancy reason (Customizing field "Posting Term").
    The posting terms that are used for posting the conditions then receive a new time slot, for which the values are adopted from the default term.
    If the requested vacancy term does not exist, the system creates it. In doing so, the system uses the posting term "Template Vacancy Postings" with a blank key as a template. You have to enter the account assignment object manually in the newly created vacancy term in the contract dialog, if no account assignment object was entered in the template or if you want to have a different account assignment.
  • Other Account Determination Value:
    • The posting terms receive new time slots, whereby the account assignment value is adopted from Customizing. The system does not create a new default term.
  • Other CO Account Assignment and Other Acct Determ. Value:
    • The system creates a new default term, if needed, similar to the procedure for "Other CO Account Assignment", but in this case, the system also enters the account determination value from Customizing. For the posting terms, the system generates new time slots in accordance with this default term.
  • Template Vacancy Postings:
    • The system generates new time slots for the posting terms, whereby in each case the system enters a blank key for the "Vacancy Template".
