Definition

Specify the directory path and the name of the upload or download file. Note the syntax used by the various computers.

Example (PC): d:\tmp\text.rtf

Example (Unix Workstation): /usr/sap/c11/SYS/global/text.rtf

When you upload, file data is transported to the SAP System; when you download, data from the SAP System is saved in the file,

If you are working at a PC, specify a file that is located on one of the PC's hard drives or diskettes. In the case of workstations, the file can also be located on an external drive that is directly linked through the network.

In some cases it is necessary to temporarily release settlement units that have already been settled. If you specify a local file for this, the settlement ID under which the SU was settled is saved locally. When you want to set it back to its "settled" status, you have to specify this file name again. The SU is then set to "settled" and the old settlement ID is saved again in the cost collector (table VIAK25). The current date, however, is saved as the settlement date in the cost collector.

Please note that settled SUs should only be released in extreme cases, only by experienced consultants.
