Definition

A redemption schedule set (RS set) groups together a number of Redemption schedules for each class. In other words, the RS set and ID number identify a certain volume of redemption schedules.

Use

Redemption schedule sets are required for representing drawable bonds in the system.

Structure

Redemption schedule sets are identified uniquely by their name and the ID number of the class.

They comprise header data and the redemption schedules that are assigned to them.

The most important information from the header data of an RS set is:

  • The date of the first redemption
  • The date of the last redemption
  • The entries for the repayment frequency
  • The entries for calculating the publication date from the redemption dates.

Integration

You create the names for the RS sets in Customizing for the Securities area by choosing 'Define Redemption Schedule Sets'.

These RS sets are assigned the the individual classes, for example, drawable bonds. (You can assign several RS sets to a class). When you create an RS set for a class, you enter the header data of the RS set.

You can then enter one or more redemption schedules for the RS set of a class.

Example

You could define an RS set as follows:

Data provider X (containing the redemption schedules of data provider X)

Estimations (containing the redemption schedules resulting from your own estimations).
