Definition

Indicates that the recipe data is consistent.

Use

You start the consistency check on the Basic Data tab page. If the consistency check is positive, the system sets the Consistent indicator.

The consistency check is carried out by the Business Add-In (BAdI) Consistency Check for Recipe. A default implementation is supplied that performs the following checks and actions:

  • The system checks whether the reference quantity exists.
  • The system checks whether the lot size exists. This is not obligatory.
  • The system checks whether the recipe has the same primary output as the previous version of the recipe.
  • The system checks whether the formulas are consistent. Here, it distinguishes between the following scenarios:
    • If the recipe has only one recipe formula, the system checks whether the recipe formula is consistent.
    • If the recipe only has stage formulas, the system checks whether all stage formulas are consistent and whether the recipe can be synchronized.
    • If the recipe has a recipe formula and stage formulas, the system checks whether all stage formulas are consistent. The recipe formula must be synchronized or must not contain any items in the Input and Output formula view.
  • If the system finds formulas that are not consistent when checking recipe consistency, it starts the formula consistency check.
  • If you deselect the Consistent indicator for the recipe, the system does not automatically deselect the Consistent indicator for the formulas.

Dependencies

If a recipe was set as consistent, you can only make limited changes to it. You cannot use the BAdI to influence which data can no longer be changed.
