Definition

Defines the procedure used to determine the option rate.

If dates of service were entered in table VITAXD in conjunction with correction items, then this indicator is always set to 0 in input tax distribution.

Here calculation type 1 = automatic determination of the option rate for the specified object according to the area relationship.

The area relationship is the relationship between the total of living areas and usable spaces of all rental units let liable to tax spaces of all rental units of the object.

Here calculation type 2 = automatic determination of the option rate for the specified object according to the cubic ratio.

The cubic ratio is the relationship in percent between the space let liable to tax on sales/purchases and the total cubic area of an object.

Use

Calculation type 3 can only be used for settlement units in which the settlement (apportionment) factor is based on fixed values.

Exception: If the settlement factor of the settlement unit is not based on fixed values and the calculation type 3 is still used, a different settlement factor for option rate determination that is based on fixed values has to be entered.

Here calculation type 3 = automatic determination of the option rate for the specified object based on the ratio of the apportionment units.

The ratio of the apportionment units is the percentage ratio resulting from the total of the apportionment units of all rented objects liable for sales tax and the total of apportionment units of all rental units of the object.

Here calculation type 6 = manual determination of the option rate for the specified object according to the area relationship. The value maintained manually should therefore be determined according to the area relationship. The specified object is not taken into account in the monthly option rate determination.
