Use

The Edit function allows you to change selection variants or create new ones.

  • If you specify an existing variant name:

    The system displays the report selection screen with the associated selection criteria. You can change these selection criteria, if you wish.
  • If you do not specify a variant name:

    You can create a variant. The system branches to the report selection screen where you can enter your selection criteria and store them under a variant name that you specify yourself.

Procedure

To select this function, enter an 'x' in the appropriate field.

To deselect, overwrite the 'x'.

Dependencies

You can change an existing variant only if it is not flagged as protected. Only the author can change/delete a protected variant.

The Delete function allows you to delete the variant you have specified.

Procedure

To select this function, enter an 'x' in the appropriate field.

To deselect, overwrite the 'x'.

Dependencies

When you select this function, you see a dialog box where you have to confirm your intention to delete.

The Print function allows you to print the variant you have specified. On selecting this function, you go first to the Print Screen List screen where you can specify the print parameters.

Use

The Directory function allows you to display a list of all variants available for the report you have specified. For each variant, this list also contains descriptions (if text exists), as well as the author/last user to make changes, date, protection and environment (online/background).

To deselect, overwrite the 'x'.

Use

If the Protected flag is set, no changes can be made to the variant. This means that the variant can be neither changed nor deleted.

These restrictions do not apply to the author of the variant.
