Procedure

To delete a characteristic value from the planning hierarchy, set this indicator.

Notes

No planning versions are deleted. (If you choose Master data -> Planning hierarchy -> Change and use the Delete member pushbutton, existing planning versions are deleted along with the characteristic value.)

You cannot retrieve characteristic values that you have deleted from the hierarchy. Therefore, before you amend the hierarchy, simulate the results by choosing Simulation only.
