Documentation
Definition
Alphanumeric key for a discount or surcharge.
For register discounts, you enter the discount key directly in the register data. Just as when you use discount variants for quantity or demand discounts, the schema steps affected by the register discount write a difference line and one or more discount line items.
Demand discounts always refer to the entire billing period since demand values are always extended over the billing period if the Demand unchanged indicator is not set. This also applies if registers are installed in the middle of the billing period or if a new discount starts during the billing period. In comparison to this, the variant DISCNT02includes demand discounts on a limited basis.
Example 1:
Installation of an additional register during the billing period
A second demand register that is to have a demand register discount isinstalled during the year in an installation that already contains ademand register. A two-peak average is to be calculated.

The amount of the discount depends on the date of the maximum meter reading.
When you enter a date, demand is calculated according to the discountthat applied on that date.
