Documentation
Definition
This causes the tax amounts to be rounded according to the tax on sales/purchases code.
Even if settings are made in Customizing so that the tax amounts are rounded in the local currency , this rounding is only for documents that were created in the local currency. For documents that are created in a foreign currency, the tax is not rounded in the local currency.
The function makes it possible, even for foreign currency documents with tax amounts that have not be rounded, to create a report so that the figures appear as if the tax was rounded at the time the document was posted. For this reason, the output list contains additional columns for the rounded tax amounts:
- Output tax / input tax: Line items
- Output tax / input tax: Total
- Balance per company code
These are in addition to the columns with the tax amounts. If a suitable tax on sales/purchases code is selected, entries are made in these fields
- according to the tax code for rounded tax amounts in foreign currency documents
- for the tax amounts as rounded when the document was created for local currency documents.
For the rounding after document creation, create an additional tax code with the following properties.
- Create the code for the country, for which the taxes to be rounded are to be reported
- Tax type output tax
- Tax percentage 100% for a suitable tax type
Proceed
Rounding is then completed with the formula that was created for the selected tax type in the corresponding calculation procedure.
