Definition
Table which is to be used as a reference for an information structure field.
Use
Reference fields are needed to generate DDIC structures for condition structures and information structures. These reference fields determine the dictionary attributes of new fields in the structures.
A reference structure and a reference field must always be specified when a condition structure or an information structure is defined.
