Use
If you set this indicator, the system only selects the material specifications that have a planned validity period that corresponds exactly to the entered key date. If you do not set this indicator, the system selects all material specifications that have a planned validity period for a date that lies before or on the entered key date.
Procedure
Example
Your system contains material "A" which has the following planned validity periods for the material specification: January 1, 1999 and February 1, 1999. Your system also contains material "B" with the planned validity periods of January 1, 1999 and March 1, 1999.
You activate the material specification for the key date March 1, 1999.
If the indicator is not set, the system selects material "A" with the planned validity period of February 1, 1999 and material "B" with the planned validity period of March 1, 1999 and activates these material specifications.
If the indicator is set, the system only selects material "B" with the planned validity period of March 1, 1999 and activates this material specification.
