Supplementary Documentation - QMERK 0001

Dependencies

  • If you want to record results for characteristics, you must specify this for each inspection type in the inspection setup (Quality Management view of the material master record). A prerequisite for this is that you carry out inspections using a task list or a material specification.
  • Recording results by characteristics is a prerequisite for dynamic modification at characteristic level; the dynamic modification level can be set in the task list header.

Supplementary Documentation - QMERK 0002

Dependencies

  • If you want to record results based on characteristics, you must inspect using a task list or a material specification.
  • Characteristic-based results recording is a prerequisite for characteristic-based dynamic modification. In task lists, you can choose a dynamic modification level.

Supplementary Documentation - QMERKNR 0001

Procedure

  • When you create a master record, you can enter your own (alphanumeric) identifier. If you do not enter an identifier, the system automatically assigns the master record a number from the predefined number range.
  • When you create, change, delete, and display a validity period of a master record, you must enter the identifier of an existing master record.

Supplementary Documentation - QMERKNR 0002

Procedure

If the class characteristic is assigned exactly one master inspection characteristic and this master inspection characteristic has not yet been assigned within the material specification, the system proposes an identifier for the master inspection characteristic.

If the class characteristic is assigned more than one master inspection characteristic, you can display a list of assigned characteristics using the list function. You can then select a characteristic from this list.
