Definition

You use this indicator to enhance the transaction QA08 for mass changes to the inspection setup in materials.

Use

If you set this indicator, the mass changes to the inspection setup of materials is enhanced to include the following functions:

• You can specify the plant-specific material status and the batch requirement as additional selection criteria for materials.
• When you activate the inspection type, you can copy the specified inspection type as the preferred inspection type to the inspection setup.

On the Deactivate Inspection Type tab, you can select materials with inactive inspection types and delete the assignment of the inspection type to the materials.
