Definition
You use this indicator to control the link between Document Management (DMS) and the inspection lot.
Use
Dependencies
When the indicator is active, you can assign documents to the inspection lot in inspection lot processing and in the usage decision.
The documents can also be displayed in results recording.
When you deactivate the indicator, existing document assignments are not deleted, but they are no longer displayed in the inspection lot. In the document itself, no new assignments to the inspection lot can then be created.
Note:
If you edit the inspection lots via Customizing, note that the assignment of documents is not a Customizing setting and does not have a Customizing transport link.
Requirements
To be able to assign documents, you must have entered at least one document type in Customizing for Document Management under Control Data -> Define Document Types that allows the assignment of inspection lots (object QALS for object link).
For the object link, you also have to enter the screen number 500.
